Let us speak in the heavenly realms and use the Word of G-d! We will address the adversary and his agents, declaring what the Word of G-d says. We proclaim the victory of Yahshua on the Cross, releasing His authority over our families and ourselves. We decree that Yahshua (and not the adversary) will rule over us in the year of 2020.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I repent of my sins and ask forgiveness. I ask that You cancel any seeds of destruction, doubt, envy, jealousy, and hatred that I have sown this past year. As I have wrestled over issues of the past, I can also wrestle with the knowledge that You will surely be with me, so that I am victorious in all Your ways!
Father, I ask for mercy and compassion. I have been a poor representation of You. I pray that You reveal to me this foul veil or covering that I have worn up to now. Clothe me, Father, with new clothes!
I repent for and renounce everything that has allowed the enemy to steal my prayers. Father, would You remove all generational curses this coming year? I ask that You make them null and void!
I accept my salvation as a gift from G-d. I proclaim and decree these scriptures over myself and my family this coming year:
Proverbs 28:18, “Whoever lives blamelessly will be saved, but he whose ways are crooked will fall in one (of those ways).”
Proverbs 2:21, “For the upright will live in the land; the pure-hearted will remain there.”
Proverbs 11:6, “The righteousness of the upright rescues them, but the treacherous are trapped by their own intrigues.”
Let my lifestyle, my attitude, and my obedience to all Your Commandments cause You to delight in me.
Proverbs 11:20, “The crooked-hearted are an abomination to Adonai, but those sincere in their ways are his delight.”
In Yahshua’s name, I destroy every evil covenant or demonic blessing that I came into agreement with or that any of my ancestors came into agreement with. I want complete separation from any of these agreements.
Father, with Your Holy Fire, I ask that You strip all demonic power from these agreements, no matter what their level, rank, office, or ruler-ship of operation is in the spirit. Release these strongholds so that I can have my inheritance, birthright, and shalom peace.
I petition, Psalms 23 over my life and my family. My Shepherd is very near to me.
I will take up the armor of G-d to do battle with my enemies. You set me on high. Father, will You help me overcome and defeat my enemies, Ps 18:39, “I crushed them so that they can’t get up; they have fallen under my feet.”
Father, please expose the workings of the adversary, that has been going on behind the scenes. I want to clear out anything that is hidden in dark places and fill Your house with glory this coming New Year!
Father, will You release Your Shekinah glory and Your visitation upon me this coming season. Let Your will be done, and for Your Kingdom to come!
Haggai 2:6-9, “For this is what Adonai-Tzva’ot says: ‘It won’t be long before one more time I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land; and I will shake all the nations so that the treasures of all the nations will flow in, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says Adonai-Tzva’ot. ‘The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,’ says Adonai-Tzva’ot. ‘The glory of this new house will surpass that of the old,’ says Adonai-Tzva’ot, ‘and in this place, I will grant shalom,’ says Adonai-Tzva’ot.”
Father, would You remove all deception, wrongful motivations, and intents from my heart, mind, and will, that would cause me to pray unreasonable, misleading, and unwarranted prayers.
Continue to renew my mind with the Word of G-d. Align my will and emotions to walk in obedience to Your Commandments!
Lead me on Your path and help me grow and develop. Energize my mind in areas where I am struggling. I petition, Father, for You to reveal and take hold of all temptations, infiltrations, and workings of the enemy, that are in my body. Pull it out of me until nothing remains!
I stand before You Father and petition for every person that I have wounded with my words and deeds. I ask for redemptive healing for those that I have contaminated or infected with my behavior.
As a believer in Messiah Yahshua (Jesus Christ of Nazareth), I will take up my position within the Body of Messiah in 2020.
Father, release the voice of Your Word, as a war cry in me and others, so that we may worship with one accord. Breach the walls of the enemy’s kingdom that separates the Body! I want to break through to Your Kingdom and pierce the canopy that holds back Your blessings and purpose.
I will guard and cherish the purpose the Father has appointed for me.
I accept the right to be blessed by G-d and to bless others. My domain on this earth will be measured by the release of the blessing that I can do.
In this next year, I will produce more Fruits of the Spirit. Help me proclaim the loving kindness, justice, and goodness of G-d to those in darkness. Help make me surefooted and a blessing to others.
Psalms 18:33, “He makes my feet like hinds’ feet [able to stand firmly or make progress on the dangerous heights of testing and trouble]; He sets me securely upon my high places.”
Proverbs 11:11, “By the blessing of the upright, a city is raised up; but the words of the wicked tear it down.”
I finish this prayer by proclaiming the Joy of G-d in the spirit realms!
Psalms 32:11, “Be glad in Adonai; rejoice, you righteous! Shout for joy, all you upright in heart!
Psalms 97:11, “Light is sown for the righteous and joy for the upright in heart”
Psalms 36:10, For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.

An Addendum Note on Temptation and Getting Ourselves Right with G-d
The only person we can blame for being tempted is ourselves. Temptation only works because of the lust in our heart. The origination of lust comes from deceit. We think something is much better than it is. The craftier the deception, the more influential the lust and temptation.
Fascinations and enticements are deceptive, deceitful, hunters. These hunters are active. They come after your heart; they are not passive. Temptations often come after you rather than you going after them, so guard your eyes and heart!
James 1:14. “Rather, each person is being tempted whenever he is being dragged off and enticed by the bait of his desire.” The minute your emotions are raised, you are in trouble. The minute you tell yourself it’s fine to move a little closer or to take a second look, or linger a moment more, or fantasize just one more split second – is the moment your connection to G-d is in danger. You are being loured into defilement by the enemy of your soul.
Romans 13:14, “But clothe yourself with Messiah Yahshua, and make no provision for indulging the flesh.” Put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature to gratify its desires and lusts. The only person we can blame for that temptation is what lies in the lusts of our own heart.
1 John 2:16, “Because all the things of the world — the desires of the old nature, the desires of the eyes, and the pretensions of life — are not from the Father but from the world.”
